hello,   I have a file called A.pvz in a Windows server S:\Illustrate\files\source\A.pvzI copied it on my machine in a folder: C:\Users\ron\Documents\CREO Illustrate\files\Templates\A.pvz   I forget the imported origine file and would like to update the c3di illustration. Hello,I want to make multiple analysis, from a robot in different positions. I want to be moving the robot and every 2 degrees I move it and make for every position a mode analysis, but since it is a long repetitive procedure i would like to run it has  it works with a servomotor. I would like to make a script that makes moves the position, then makes an analysis and then saves the results. i don´t have any idea if creo can makes scrips and how they work.Someone has an idea?Thank you very much,Edna

I cannot figure out why I cannot find anything in an indexterm. I am trying to find the word cutter in an indexterm. For value I enter cutter. I then populate ontags with indextern, and do not find anything? Am I missing something.Bryon

I'm trying to find the moment of inertia of an assembly, but I'm having a problem. I don't know how to find the density of the assembly. There are two parts in the assembly, both of which have the proper densities. Every time I try to find the mass properties of the assembly, it automatically sets the density of the assembly to 1. On Section, I can choose which parts will be chopped and which ones will not. Has anyone seen this?  I opened a CSV file to manipulate some of the tables and the values are different than what is in the RPT file. The attached picture shows what I am talking about. HiWe have started using Windchill & WT parts to manage all the information of our products. We started to store pdf versions of our drawing (for quick reference) in WT parts, but having to do the process for multiple items can take lots of time (go to WT part, checkout part, Create new Reference document, add pdf to reference document, checkin everything, rince & repeate...)I recently learned about the Import from spreadsheet in Windchill and was able to create a simple tool to let a user bulk load multiple WTpart. I was wondering if it was possible to import spreadsheets to do the following tasks:-Create a Reference Document part-Add a pdf to the Reference Document (if could be defined with a path)-Add this new Reference Document to a WTpart (of the same number)Is this too much for the Import from spreadsheet function? We have it installed & monitoring, and we've changed the dashboard & even sent some reports via email, but we feel it can do a whole lot more. The documentation shows how to install it, but is a little light on using it.

Hi everybody,although I looked a little in past questions, I don't seem to find anything suitable.  I am confronted with the problem of reducing the sampling rate of a set of files, if possible with a variable reduction factor. For example setting reduction := 60 I would then have a value every minute, instead of a value every second, and so on. All my attempts are baffled by error: "insufficient memory for the required operation".I built an example with a limited amount of data, in order to show what I am trying to do. But the real files that I have got can reach 1.5 Millions of lines. They are also not readable with Excel.Moreover, the procedure seems to me very slow.  There has to be a better approach, but at the moment I cannot see it.Thanks a lot in advance for any hint!RegardsClaudioPS: a small collateral question would be if there is some easy Mathcad-way to convert the time stamp "hh:mm:ss" in a normal number (like for example seconds from midnight or so).

Hello Guys,   In some of ours workstations with PTC 3.0 (ALL with Windows 7 64 bit) it happens that, when a user save a file, some characters wrote in it  change when the same file is opened again or is opened by another user.   For example .. I write a "phi" character.. when i'm finished, I save the file and quit. When I re-open the same file instead "phi" I see another character (in this particular case I see " ' ", the one between quotes)   Why have I this strange behaviour? Also It seems that when the file is opened by Creo Viewer this problem doesn't appears.... Hi,Having an issue trying to add ‘targeted datums’ (planes) onto a merged mirror part. We typically do parts (Sheet metal) them pull them into assemblies where we add our PEMs & such. I have a left & right part. The right is the master, and the left is a mirror merged part. Each have their own assembly (with pems 7 such) and each ahev their own drawing.  And, erach have their own dwg number, etc...I managed to add datums to various surfaces in order to create GTOLs in the drawing with the original part. Now, when I try to create the same datums on the mirrored assembly (assembly with the mirror merged part) I cannot get the same datums. I can make datums, but they insist on being ‘ATSMXX’ or some other name I want to give it. I would like to give them the same datum identifiers as the original parts as detailed in the drawing, to keep consistency between the left & right parts.  But, when I try to label the datum as the corresponding datum, it says "Invalid, name

I am attempting to have the Axeda Platform send an email as a text message to my phone in addition to my regular email address.  I receive the email, but not the text message.  However, I am able to send the text message from my email account.  Does the Axeda platform allow sending of SMS messages using the carrier's email protocol (see How to send email to a phone « SMS 411)?

I'm doing this by embedding a processing instruction containing the desired content at publishing time, and my stylesheet can pick up the content of the PI and stick it in the footer.
