My company recently installed Creo2, and I have an issue with measuring that a search did not find a solution for. Forgive me if there is some simple explanation for my problem, but no one here can help.In Wildfire, if you wanted to measure from a plane to an axis, I picked the plane, changed my select to axis, and then I could select multiple axes to get dimensions. This is very helpful when designing parts that are bolted together with irregular bolt patterns.Now I select my plane, and then change the type to axis, and control-select an axis. That gives me a dimension. But if I control-select more axes, I get an error, as the program can only deal with one plane and one axis at a time. I have to click right click remove then then again control-click to get a second axis measurement. Oh, and I have to open the various boxes of the Measure: distance box to see all of this.Has the program gone backwards in terms of usability, or am I missing something really basic?This thread is inactiv

Hi all,Is there any good way to show footnotes under a table which contains the several number of notes without DITA specialisation?I already tried the footnote element <fn> to show the notes right under the table.I was told to use <fn> to make it and style it with Styler for the design to show the footnotes right under the table.However, the table was a bit too long to fit in one page so it was divided in two pages. Then the head numbers of footnotes were different in each page even they were the xref of one same footnote element. (See the image)I have no idea how to fix this one. Even if the footnote is valid for this, I have no clue how to style it with Arbortext Styler.Also I am looking for the way to do this without specialising DTD.Can anyone help me with this?Thank you very much in advance.

I am wondering if anyone can advise how to create a shape similar to this. It seems to be an extrusion up to another shape but I am not sure how2. Also I accidently seemed to mess something up in the model tab as I now can not delete them from there.

I'm trying to write a script to remove members when a change package. what is the command line for deleting or discarding entries from a change package ?

If I create a repeat region to show quantity and Part Name:3 11111_12345678-0031 11111_12345678-0081 11111_12345678-0071 11111_12345678-0061 11111_12345678-0051 11111_12345678-0041 11111_12345678-0021 11111_12345678-001I have tried to write several different relations to strip the 11111_ from assembly member name. I am using the extract function but cannot seem to get the relation right.final_name = extract("asm_mbr_name",6,10)gives me the table:10 (and no member name). I am using asm.mbr.user_defined as final_name to generate table. I had one relation that returned 10 12345678-003 but have lost that relation. Hello,   I'm new to Creo Elements. I started building a part which I would need to 3d print later. I was very surprised that, after looking all the first steps videos, I was able to create this part without much problems.   After I was finished, I tried to blend one of the edges of my model again, but now the error message "Edge is tangential - cannot be blended" always appears when I try to blend an edge.   I'm sure I'm missing something essential, hopefully one of the more experiences persons here in the forum can solve my problem. Hi, The MKS Integrity Client 2009 produces an error when I try to open the application, and blocks out my computer. The error is an window with title "Error" and the only text "-1", and thats all. The application enters a loop showing this error, and have no other choise than reestart the computer.I'm running MKS Integrity Client 2009 with service pack 6 in a Windows XP Pro computer for more that a year without any problem. The error started after I installed either the last Windows XP updates (around 8th to 10th -Oct-2013) or LabView 2010.This is the error windows:I tried installing service pack 7, but the error persists.Did someone have this error?Cheers, Pedro

Hey guys, played around with isodraw on and off for awhile. I can't find the answer in the documentation, but it should be a relatively simple answer. How do i get images to go inside the grid box? I open pvz and other cad types, and they always bigger than and far away from the grid. All the instructions show them as already being inside.Many thanksBryon

Hi all, Our customer use Creo Parametric 2.0 and proeWildfire 4. When i want to borrow license for Creo Parametric 2.0 it works, but problem is when i want to borrow it for proeWildfire 4.The license is same for both.I ran proe_borrow.bat as administrator, but it didnot help.Is there anybody who has encountered this problem???

one .prt has open in the cero 2.0, when i click the save button, the back file name would be chang to 2 from 1, ........but l have do notthing or no add new featrue in the .prt .why the .prt version chang ,?? which config option can control ? I want to draw a sketch that I will use for a sweep that I want to constrain to a nominal number (probably 41 or 42"). The sketch will be a variety of lines and arcs (tangent to the lines). The actual nominal number is not important (can be anything). Looks like the models for both Omni Wheel parts in the Tetrix Kit of Parts are for the 4" wheel:Is there a correct model for TETRIX part W731132 (3" Omni Wheel) available for the 2012 KOP? Whenever I create anything in Creo, the dimensions are impossible to read. I am using creo 2.0 student edition.

You guys have been a great deal of help to our team so far. Thank You!We do have another issue that I'm unsure how to resolve.We created this claw, and have pin joints between in the following areas. Everything looks like it will work perfectly, I just cannot figure out how to connect the motor back to the motor housing, since I've already constrained it to the arm. Is there a different way to constrain the pieces so they will form a complete loop?

Hi all,New Creo Parametric user here, with about a year and a half of experience on Pro-E Wildfire. My company prints most of it's drawings on regular 8.5"x11" paper, and that means there really isn't much room for the thick lines that seem to be the default when printing a drawing. I've tried to find my way into the config file to edit the pen width, but so far I've had no luck.Also, I'm trying to insert my company's logo into the table that I'm using for title block. Is there a way to change the color of a hidden line in a drawing? I have been working with MathCad for several years, but I am not comfortable dealing with differential models. Instead, I always use some numerical methods and/or matrices to get an approx. solution. This time however, I really would like to use the "Odesolver" fuction. so I am using the ideal gas equation (P*Vmol=R*Temp),the initial volume and the temperature,to evaluate the pressure and the pressure profile after 10 sec.I defined the two functions (Pressure based on molar vol, and molar vol based on initial volume and time), and now I am trying to put them together to get and expression, but I was not able to do it right. I allready have all variations defined with flexible components which are on their turn controlled trough an parameter in combination with Pro/PROGRAM.Now everything works fine when modifying the flexibility manually i.e. EDIT DEFINITION-->FLEXIBILITY-->PARAMETERS-->YES/NO.However I want these parameters to be linked to a parameter(s) which are located in the assembly where these flexible components are placed in, I just don't seem to find out how.Also, question 2:"What do ''Assoc. Hello! I have a problem with intalation Creo Elements pro 5.0 Schools Edition. I have an Internet connection, but when I click "generate licence file" it says "this mode requires internet connection to connect ptc.com". Please help
