I dont have the installation fileUsually I got this from my school teacher. But I cannot contact him right now and I need Mathcad for my exam

It happens from time to time (within week) that my Mathcad installation forgets the Server name in the License Setup Window. So I always have to correct the server location again and again. I don't have ever provided any "localhost" server, anyway it randomly shows up ... 

When running the PTC Web Installation Assistant, once I reach the Application Selection step, there are no applications available for me to select to install.

I've seen a couple of PTC articles showing a symbolic solve block using a 'dummy' variable in the solve variable list (which isn't represented in the solve expressions).  The examples involved inequalities.  They use  't'  and it appears needed to force a comprehensive result.  I attach a file with two examples. Does someone know the intention, and interpretation, of this dummy variable?

Anyone know how extension pricing works? I see this one, IHS Markit Synch, but unsure of its costs and price model? Is anyone using it and like it? I have asked for quotes on the IHS web services license which appears to be required too.

Im unable to solidify this simple box because of the extend function. Ive added some images and the Creo model to clarify. My actual model is more complicated but the problem is the same. Playing around with accuracy (also absolute) does not solve the problem. Im not going to use data doctor because it should be a parametric model.  I now solve this by creating an offset and creating another offset back to the original size, then I can solidify this second offset but how do I solve this properly?  Using Creo 70.2.0

Hello everyone, I can't find if there is a direct way to find out which of the elements in an External Copy Geometry feature have dependencies (children) in the part this feature is in?Example: A part has an External Copy Geometry feature that references a Publish Geometry in a skeleton part. It contains a number of datums. Only some of those datums are actually referenced by the features further down in the part's model tree. I want to simplify the Publish Geometry / External Copy Geometry by removing the datums that are not referenced in the part. Is there an easy way to find out which datums are not used? With the reference viewer I can see which features are dependent on the External Copy Geometry feature, but not which elements from the External Copy Geometry they reference? I hope it's clear what I mean...  The reason for asking is that I want to cleanup the external references and  skeleton part and remove those elements that are no longer used

When I ran the mark deprecated script from Creo 9 on my Creo 5 toolkit files, one of the suggestions I got was "Replace ProGtolDataGet with NONE." Is NONE a function? or is it telling me that it has no suggestion to replace this function with?

Hi,I am having a problem creating a circular pattern of a protrusion in Creo 4.0 .The pattern should distribute evenly around a 360 degrees circle, yet it only fills up half of the circle. Some of the protrusions seem to overlap or just fail.I am having this problem since day one of using Pro/E and Creo. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I must be doing something wrong. Not sure what.I tried 2 different ways.- A dimensional pattern on the base angle of the protrusion- A reference pattern of the protrusion, by first patterning the reference datum plane of the protrusion.Both ways fail.The pattern works, as long as the total angle used is less than 180 degrees. When trying to fill the full 360 degrees, the protrusions overlap or fail.Screenshots are hopefully helpful to understand the problem.  

here  127.0.0.1 is my hostname. Also, my java program is notgetting executed. I tried calling my function through main(), it throwed RMI exception error. Now post making the following changes. Still authentication error exists: myFunction is my remote function which internally calls getDocbyIBA() function where I have my querySpec which returns some data. While checking the ms logs..I can see the code execution in function myFuncrtion() happens and the authorization error is thrown at this line

i have a problem with the synchronization of thingworx and opc aggregator.first what have i done:use opc aggregator to read out values from machines, use the default settings.in thingworx i connect with remote thing over industrial connections and use for example following settingsi primarily use "read from server cache" or "cached for specific time", it s ok, but here is my problem....i get values by changed, thats correct, but in a few cases the change does not arrive...the setting "fetch form remote every read" would now make sure to always have the current value, but i continue to work with the values in different places and that would trigger too many read operations to opc aggregator here...at the moment my solution is, manually reinitializing the connection in the opc aggregator, in order to force a current query and syncronize opc aggregator and thingworx.is it possible, to query the current value from the opc aggregator, from thingworx?or is there a possibility to trigger the

At time i do reinitialization the runtime of the connections manually.Is there a possibility, to trigger reinitialization the runtime of the connections, from the outside with a service? 

Use the OPC Aggregator to connect to machines via OPC UA to get the signals in Thingworx.Sometimes it is necessary to reinitialize the connection manually, which in my opinion is only possible via the OPC Aggregator. Is there a way to start a service from thingworx that can trigger the new initialization of the OPC Aggregator? If someone from PTC is reading this, is there a chance of getting a feature in the future, new initialization of the OPC Aggregator  from thingworx,  to automate operations? Thanks for help

 Hello, I know there is already a similar topic but it seems like this does not work in newer versions anymore. I am trying to call a Servlet from a custom jsp in Windchill 12.0.2.1.The serlets url is <server>/Windchill/servlet/MyExportServlet. The servlet works fine when I paste this url in the browser. I am generating the url in the jsp like you can see blow.   <% String cb = WTProperties.getLocalProperties().getProperty("wt.server.codebase"); String action = cb + "/servlet/MyExportServlet"; %>   Then there is a form in the jsp that is supposed to call the servlet  <form action="<%=action%>"> ....inputs <button type="submit">Submit</button> </form>  However when pressing submit the page seems to be reloading and the servlet is not called. There is no error or anything else. Does anyone know how to do this? Best regards 

I've converted a MathCAD file into MathCAD Prime (ver. 7).   For some reason the plot doesn't show.   The functions appear to be working.   Not sure what I'm doing wrong.  (see attached screen capture) EDIT - attached Mathcad Prime document

In some way, I want to hide the tab header using CSS. When using CSS, it works properly. In my single mashup, I have two tab widgets, and the CSS is applied for two tab widgets.   I want apply below CSS with widget specific.   .widget-ptcstabset::part(tabs-header){ display: none; }   How to apply CSS without affecting more than one tab widget?    Note: Thingworx 9.1

I just got Creo 8.0.5.0 loaded...aaaaand hate it.  The biggest problem is when I load my personalized config.pro file that I've used for ages I get some BS "To use a Deprecated config option..." error message, and as soon as I try and create or redefine a feature, in sketcher I get the dreaded "White Screen of Death", where I can't see ANYTHING, it's just blinding white.  When I get out of sketcher, I get the correct black background.  As it is I can't load my config.pro and so can't get my mapkeys.  Needless to say I'm extremely p!ssed.  I've had problems upgrading Creo before in the past, but nothing like the total show stopper this is.  What I might do is just make a config.pro consisting ONLY of my mapkeys and see if that works.  Way to go, PTC!   Anyone seen or have a solution for this garbage?   Thx!  

Hi. I was trying to upload a video with mp4 format in vuforia studio  through 3D Video feature but  it doesn't play the video. Would there be anyways to make it work? 

I get an email asking how difficult it was to renew.  I click the link - and I'm on a page where every thing is written in what looks like Chinese.   I don't read or speak Chinese.    The original email is written in English - so, how would it make sense to link a Chinese page?   This is just lacking common sense.  Oh, and I still don't have a license.    Whatever.

I am using Creo Parametric 8.0 8.0.0.0I use Creo Parametric every day. My Windows 10 computer received a security update last Thursday night. When I got in to work on Friday Creo was constantly going non-responsive. I uninstalled the security update and Creo seemed to work for the rest of the day. When I got to work this morning (Monday) my computer installed updates again. Again Creo wouldn't function because every time I clicked on something it would go non-response for 20 seconds to a minute. I uninstalled the updates again (I think they were different updates this time). No luck. Creo remained unresponsive. So, I took the opposite approach. I installed the latest graphics drivers and installed all possible windows updates. No luck. Creo is still unresponsive. Please help. This is preventing me from getting any of my work done.
